Heidi Fields
Executive Vice President and CFO, Blue Shield of California
Heidi Fields joined Blue Shield of California in September of 2003 as executive vice president and chief financial officer responsible for a number of functions including accounting, corporate finance, treasury, analytics, actuarial, internal audit, facilities, and information technology.
Prior to joining Blue Shield, Ms. Fields served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Gap, Inc. Preceding Gap, she served as the chief financial officer of ITT Industries, Inc. and, during 16 year tenure, held senior financial management positions at General Motors Corporation, including Vice President and Treasurer.
Ms. Fields has a master's degree in business administration from Columbia University and was a magna cum laude graduate of Georgetown University in Washington, DC. She currently serves on the boards of Agilent Technologies, Financial Engines and Blue Shield of California Foundation.
