Heidi Kunz
Executive Vice President and CFO, Blue Shield of California
Heidi Kunz is executive vice president and chief financial officer of Blue Shield of California with responsibility for a number of functions including accounting, corporate finance, treasury, analytics, actuarial, internal audit, facilities, and information technology.
Prior to joining Blue Shield, Ms. Kunz served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Gap, Inc. Preceding Gap, she served as the chief financial officer of ITT Industries, Inc. and, during a 16 year tenure, held senior financial management positions at General Motors Corporation, including vice president and treasurer.
Ms. Kunz has a master’s degree in business administration from Columbia University and was a magna cum laude graduate of Georgetown University in Washington, DC. She currently serves on the board of Agilent Technologies and lives in Mill Valley with her husband, Howard Fields.
