Erin Harrington joins Blue Shield of California Foundation as a graduate of UC Davis where he received his Bachelor's of Arts degree in Economics and a minor in Global International Studies. Having been an active member in both his campus and community, Mr. Harrington has been a part of many programs ranging from the California Public Interest Research Group to a campus-wide gender and sexuality equality commission.
In college, Mr. Harrington had the opportunity to study international economic policies at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark where he developed his advocacy for social equality. Coming back to Davis, he helped with a statewide youth registration drive for the 2008 presidential election and most recently served as a summer counselor at a camp geared specifically for foster children.
In his free time, Mr. Harrington is acclimating himself to the city while learning all the various modes of public transportation. He is an avid traveler and loves good books, great food, and seeing awesome new destinations.
