Building Capacity

Critical to ending domestic violence in California is a strong, coordinated network of domestic violence service providers.

To this end, the Foundation makes investments in the organizations, leaders, and systems that enable the entire field to be more sustainable, innovative, and collaborative. Through legacy programs like the Strong Field Project and partnerships with key institutions at the state and regional levels, we’re enabling DV service providers to improve the efficiency and efficacy of their programs and broaden their ability to reach survivors in need. This body of grants also includes flexible core operating funding to support DV organizations’ ability to respond to new opportunities and challenges as they arise.
