California Speaks on Health Reform
On March 6, 2009, Blue Shield of California Foundation sponsored a briefing in Washington D.C. to share lessons learned from the California health reform effort and viewpoints of California stakeholders and citizens. Attendees included staff of the members of the California delegation in Congress.
The event, hosted by the Office of the Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, included presentations by Crystal Hayling, President and CEO of Blue Shield of California Foundation; Hon. Fabian Nuñez, Former Speaker of the California State Assembly and author of ABX1; John Arensmeyer, Founder and CEO of Small Business Majority; and Mark DiCamillo, Senior Vice President of Field Research Corporation.
