Christine Maulhardt

Director of Communications and Public Affairs

Christine Maulhardt focuses on external relations in her role as director of communications and public affairs. She is responsible for implementing the Foundation’s public affairs and new media strategies to engage policymakers, grantees, and other key stakeholders in support of its mission to increase access to health care and end domestic violence.

Ms. Maulhardt brings a blend of policy, research, and advocacy experience to her role. Prior to joining the Foundation, she was a research associate at Harder + Company Community Research, managing and evaluating health and social services programs for government and philanthropy clients. Prior to Harder, she directed a statewide obesity prevention initiative at the California Medical Association Foundation, working with physicians and other health professionals to decrease obesity and chronic disease rates among Californians. 

Ms. Maulhardt earned her master of public administration degree at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She also spent a year as an AmeriCorps volunteer in an underserved elementary school after receiving her bachelor of arts in communication from the University of Washington.
