Adam  Sanders A native of Cleveland Ohio, Mr. Sanders moved to the Bay Area to work at the UCSF AIDS Health Project. Serving their development department, he assisted the Development and Executive Assistants in managing the grants calendar, generating funding requests to foundations, and planning fundraising and special events for the agency.

An alumnus of Miami University in Oxford Ohio, Mr. Sanders received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing and a minor in Entrepreneurship from the Farmer School of Business. While in college, Mr. Sanders developed a sense for advocacy and volunteerism in health and cultural related organizations. He volunteered with AIDS Volunteers of Cincinnati and was a board member for his college’s local AIESEC chapter, the world’s largest student-run organization which promotes understanding, diversity and cultural awareness through travel and employment.

In his free time Mr. Sanders is a continuing volunteer at the UCSF AIDS Health Project and the STOP AIDS Project, where he is a state certified HIV/AIDS Test Counselor. He also enjoys traveling, reading memoirs and fiction, exploring his new home of San Francisco, and adjusting to life outside of the Ohio farmland.
