Aida Lucha joins the Foundation after several years in the nonprofit sector. Prior to joining the Blue Shield of California Foundation, Ms. Lucha was a Marketing Manager for the Mt. Diablo Region YMCA located in the East Bay. Ms. Lucha started her career at the YMCA as a volunteer. She then turned her volunteering into an internship and ended up at the corporate office becoming the Marketing Manager for the entire association.
Ms. Lucha's passion is to organize and execute large events for the community, such as, health fairs, fund raisers, and golf tournaments. Ms. Lucha enjoys working with people, bringing them high quality programs and events. Ms. Lucha is a graduate of San Francisco State University, with a Bachelors of Arts in Recreation & Leisure Studies.
