Kym Orr joins the Foundation’s Public Affairs team after years of working in marketing communications for Bay Area organizations. Prior to joining Blue Shield of California Foundation, Ms. Orr assisted with the development of print and electronic communications, as well as advertising and direct mail campaigns for the American Academy of Opthalmology, Ask Jeeves, and CNET. Ms. Orr received her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Art History from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
In her free time, Ms. Orr enjoys exporing the visual arts, experiencing the great food and wine of the Bay Area, traveling as often as she can, and dabbling in craft projects. When not playing frisbee in the park with her Boston Terrier, Ms. Orr volunteers with the Headlands Center for the Arts.
