Jennifer Paniagua

Senior Program Coordinator

Jennifer Paniagua (she/her) is a senior program coordinator at Blue Shield of California Foundation. She is responsible for providing project support and coordination for the Foundation’s work to align systems with community priorities.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Jenn worked as a program associate at Hispanics in Philanthropy (HIP), a nonprofit organization focused on supporting Latinx-led and Latinx-serving organizations through the Americas and the Caribbean. At HIP, she offered administrative support for grantmaking initiatives in the U.S. and rapid-response grants throughout the Americas, through a streamlined grantmaking process and relationship building with grassroots organizers. Jenn also supported HIP's racial equity strategy, by taking the organization's internal learning through peer learning spaces and workshops focused on the intersections of gender equity, disability and neurodiversity justice, and racial equity.

Additionally, Jenn is a member of the Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy’s Bay Area chapter steering committee. She supports the mentorship program focused on connecting newer folks in philanthropy with more seasoned folks in the sector.

Jenn holds a bachelor’s degree in history with a focus on the African diaspora in Latin America from the University of California, Berkeley. She spends her free time swimming, reading, and spoiling her kitty, Moony.
