Lea Gallant

Evaluation and Data Strategy Program Officer

Lea Gallant (she/her) is a program officer in evaluation and data strategy for Blue Shield of California Foundation. She collaborates with staff, leadership, grantees, and stakeholders to support systems change and assess progress toward health equity and reductions in domestic violence in California.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Lea was the director of research and evaluation at a social needs technology startup and a senior research associate at the RAND Corporation, where she conducted program evaluations, policy analysis, and systematic reviews. Lea is passionate about using multidisciplinary approaches to solve complex problems, and her knowledge and skills from a variety of disciplines help define, critically assess, and measure progress toward a more just and equitable future. 

Lea holds a master’s degree in public administration with a focus on health policy analysis from New York University Wagner School of Public Service. When she isn’t collaborating with her colleagues, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, reading, and going to workout classes.
