Dr. Kathleen Clanon of Alameda County Medical Center discusses the county's successful Low Income Health Program (LIHP), which is already providing coverage for thousands of low-income patients, and enrollment continues to grow. These individuals will be enrolled in Medi-Cal in January 2014, but now they don't have to wait to get care.
